News Recall News Over 45,000 Stoves Recalled Due to Fire Hazard—Some Models "Turn On Unexpectedly" The products included in the recall were sold at home appliance stores from 2020 to 2024. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a recall of 45,400 ovens sold by the company due to possible fire hazards. The recall includes Wolf Dual Fuel ranges with infrared griddles. Per CPSC, the range can short-circuit if liquids boil over or are spilled, resulting in the griddle turning on unexpectedly and posing a burn and fire hazard. The impacted ovens were sold at home appliance stores in the U.S. and Canada from August 2020 through September 2024. The recall was initiated following 36 reports of the griddle ranges turning on unexpectedly. So far no injuries have been reported, however, if you have one of the ovens included in the recall, contact Wolf Appliance for a free repair.
