They also determined the top candy picks for each state and which states have the biggest sweet tooth. To do this, the company looked at orders containing candy in October 2023 and put together an online survey conducted by The Harris Poll of more than 2,000 Americans. According to Instacart's survey, more than 3 in 4 Americans enjoy celebrating Halloween and 1 in 4 say it's their favorite holiday. They also found that half of Americans plan to eat Halloween candy and 46 percent plan on passing out Halloween candy to trick-or-treaters. The survey also concluded that some states have bigger sweet tooths than others. Is your state one of the most sweet-toothed states?
