If you want furnishings that feel modern, Rust-Oleum can help. The brand recently debuted four paint colors from its 2025 reimagined Color Watch palette, which DIYers can use to upgrade end tables, lamps, and more. The full palette won't be released until January 2025, but the company gave a sneak peek of four colors in the collection: Gloss Burgundy, Earthy Green, Smokey Beige, and Warm Caramel. "Our aim was to craft a palette that reflects the rich diversity of nature's colors," says Lindee Katdare, creative producer and in-house DIY expert for Rust-Oleum says. "With nature offering endless beauty to inspire us, why not bring that inspiration into our daily surroundings?"" The colors highlight emerging design trends for 2025. According to Rust-Oleum's Color Council, biophilic design, subdued hues, and natural tones will be big next year. Biophilic design, which combines "bio" (life) and "philia" (affection), fosters a deep connection with nature, which inspired the concept for Rust-Oleum's 2025 palette. Rust-Oleum's Color Watch palette features colors that help transform any space, from living rooms to cozy corners. The approachable hues make it easy for everyone—including novice DIYers and experienced decorators—to infuse their personal design style into their home. The colors are designed to complement one another and can be mixed and matched to achieve a cohesive feel. Ahead, we're giving you a closer look at the new colors. Every 2025 Color of the Year We Know So Far—and Inspiration for How to Use Each in Your Home Gloss Burgundy Courtesy of Ruse-Oleum Leaning into the unexpected red theory, Gloss Burgundy is a rich, classic hue that can elevate any room. "It reminded me of a rich wine, an early 2000s lipstick, and my favorite fall nail polish—all of which convey a high-end and polished feel," Katdare says of the shade. When used on this lamp, she felt that the color punched up the space. Earthy Green Courtesy of Rust-Oleum Green is known for its balancing and harmonizing effects, and Rust-Oleum's Earthy Green does just that. This shade serves as a neutral backdrop homeowners can use instead of traditional beiges and grays. "Applying this color to the metal locker balances a bold setting while adding a subtle industrial feel. I enjoy merging these two together," Katdare says. Smokey Beige Courtesy of Rust-Oleum A warm, modern take on stark white, Smokey Beige provides an earthy feel that is clean but never cold. "I adore the freshness and clean feel that white brings to a space," Katdare says. "A pure white can sometimes seem cold and clinical, which we wanted to avoid." Warm Caramel Courtesy of Rust-Oleum. Warm Caramel is a universal option that will look good in any space. "It resembles the shade of wool pants paired with a black turtleneck; sophisticated and cool," Katdare says. "It's cozy, sophisticated, and mellow." Was this page helpful? Thanks for your feedback! Tell us why! Other Submit
