Get Paid $1,000 to Try Trader Joe's Fall-Inspired Treats—Here's How to Apply

If you're a pumpkin spice lover, you know that the best season of all is quickly approaching. And for one lucky person, it's about to get even better: FinanceBuzz is looking for someone to taste and evaluate all of the fall-inspired foods at Trader Joe's. The best part? The gig pays $1,000.

If selected for the job of "Pumpkin Spice Pundit," you will sample and rate more than 20 pumpkin-flavored foods sold at Trader Joe's, including its pumpkin waffles, cinnamon rolls, and pumpkin-spiced ginger brew.

In addition to paying you $1,000 for your hard work, FinanceBuzz will also cover the cost of your fall shopping spree with a $500 Trader Joe's gift card. It doesn't get much better than that for fans of pumpkin spice.

Using the gift card, you'll purchase one of each of the available fall foods to taste test. You must photograph each item, rate the food based on several criteria, and write a brief description of your experience. The research will be used to help shoppers choose which seasonal goodies they should purchase this year and which to skip.

Want to apply to be this year's Pumpkin Spice Pundit? You must be based in the United States and at least 18 years old. Applications are due by Sept. 10, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The chosen candidate will be announced by Sept. 13 and contacted via email. If chosen, you will have until Oct. 6 to taste and review all of Trader Joe’s fall foods.
